It's a combination of a fell race, trail race and a long distance walk.

Askham is a Furness Peninsula village next to a long sandy beach on the edge of the Duddon Estuary not far from Barrow in an area well known for its wide variety of wildlife. It starts and finishes at Braithwaite Institute near Keswick where the non-refundable registration fee of £120 per team will begin from 6am.

The fee is inclusive of a “Grab and Go” breakfast of fruit, light snacks and a coffee at the start; snacks and water at Buttermere Village Hall; refreshments on arrival at the finish line; a “Hospice at Home Challenge T-Shirt”, and full support en-route including return transport to Braithwaite if required.
